  • China Ohana sharing

    I was assigned to talk about Marriage in China Ohana this past Sunday, and I am not good at talking about it. Anyways, I just want to put down some key points. This is a very short version of the lesson

    D&C 131:1-4
    baptism is the door to celestial kingdom. Eternal Marriage is the door to exaltation.

    Compare between Missionary Work & Dating(Finding, Teaching & Baptism)

    Understanding the Opposite Sex(Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus)
    -Men go to their caves, women talk
    -Men are motivated and empowered when they feel needed; Women are motivated and empowered when they feel cherished.

    Dating
    -great opportunity to understand about the opposite sex
    -Group date: people will less likely hide his/her bad habits


    Attraction
    -Physical Attraction
    -Emotional Attraction
    -Spiritual Attraction

    PS. Each attraction aspect is important for a relationship. We can develop stronger love if we feel the spirit together. On the other hand, relationships generally can not last long if the attraction is solely based on physical appearance.

    -Family Home Evening

  • BOM

    I just finished reading the Book of Mormon again this past Monday. I have a journal of tracking my scripture reading, so I know when I started reading it from 1 Nephi. I started reading 1 Nephi 1 on April 2. Wow. It took me 3 and a half months to read the whole book(about 2 chapter a day). Now, I start reading it again from the beginning, and also D&C.
